Light, why not

Oh, the nights can be dark and the days dreary. A little flicker of candle light strengthens the spirit, I think.

If venturing on a picnic, even if not farther than one's own backyard, why not bring a candle along? A cup of hot chocolate or coffee from the thermos becomes a wee bit more festive in candle light.

A sturdy jam jar with a metal lid is a handy container for a picnic candle.

Don't forget the matches, though.

I think candle light is very special, and more so at this time of year when the darkness is all around. Your recycling of the Bon maman jar is a great idea. Hugs, Margie.

People need to find something real to be outraged about. I personally appreciate having the holiday stuff out early. There’s only a lot of weeks until Christmas at this point, I need at
least that much time to spread out my holiday spending (which includes the occasional new decoration)keep posting .http://bit.ly/uFDMML

Some great ideas there Outi. Every year I intend to sort out some craft items for Christmas and this year I might manage to do it at last thanks to your inspiration.
Actually, I am heading off to see the cologne christmas markets 2012 offerings, so I might cheat and buy a few things to complement the ones I make at home. Maybe next year I'll do it all on my own and in plenty of time
